Vote Hammer ™

Welcome to voter verified voting.

In a couple minutes you'll vote in a live demonstration campaign using a unique, random Vote Key instead of a paper ballot. You would receive a Vote Key when you register to vote, however you will be assigned a unique Vote Key for this demo and It will look something like this:

R5 8G 3D KJ

After using your Vote Key to vote, you can log in with it later to confirm your vote, which is reassuring.

But here's the best part.

After you press the 'Demo' button below and vote, press the 'See All' button. You'll see your highlighted Vote Key next to other voter's Vote Keys. Log in with any one of those other Vote Keys, and you'll see that Vote Key highlighted and unaltered, and also see your original Vote Key nearby, unaltered.

Think about that.

That means full-loop verification of every vote by every voter is possible. Anonymously. All voters see identical results and can tell no one is altering votes. Priceless. Friends can check each other's votes. Groups will confirm their votes together.

Connecting a voting system to the Internet was considered a weakness, now it's a strength. After voting, voters can walk up to any computer or smartphone, anytime, anywhere, type in their Vote Key, or any Vote Key, and boom there's the vote - unchanged.

Double-anonymize option.

Voters can replace their Vote Key with a new Vote Key after voting, for a second layer of anonymity, while still being able to verify their vote online.

Unburdens the government.

Even with honest poll workers and impeccable voting machines, voters don't know what happens to their vote. Each recount yields different results which destroys confidence. Current voting systems lack transparency due to anonymity needs and bad folks prey on that.

Reliable and permanent.

That's where this likable, lightweight, trustworthy voting system comes in. In every election, thousands of voters will check their votes and campaign data. Each campaign becomes a permanent, CRC/hash-branded ASCII spreadsheet compatible file with every vote in it. That file becomes a widely available, immutable artifact representing each campaign, forever.

Many people will check their vote and some will download campaigns into spreadsheets to add up totals themselves. They would notice & report vote flipping, their missing vote, altered data from a hacked server, etc.

The more people challenge the system, the better it looks, and the more they trust it. It's inexpensive, reliable, computers do the work, and voters do the auditing.

Better than paper ballots.

Vote Keys can't be forged, altered or duplicated. Vote Keys can also be voided and replaced on a concern from a registered voter, before election day. Real-world 32 character wide Vote Keys make the odds of guessing one less than 1 in 10^39.

Open Source. Open Server.

The source code can be open sourced for scrutiny and anyone can audit the Vote Key servers because there's no personal information on them.

A reveal date and other options let voters check on their vote anytime but reveals winners at a future date.

Inexpensive.

No more expensive voting machines, recounts, delays, paranoia, riots or voting site intimidation. Easy to deploy, green, and incorruptible. Empowers and scales to millions of voters. This system is so inexpensive, it could be run in parallel (and non-binding) alongside traditional paper ballot campaigns, to start winning voters over.

Current voting systems are antiquated, expensive and trouble-prone. The Internet is here to stay. Billions of dollars move over it every day. We paid for it, we use it for everything else, it's time we use it to vote.

We were waiting for a way to make voting on the Internet simple, verifiable, transparent, accurate, hack-aware, open, and anonymous - all at the same time.

Trustworthy.

If your voting system does not allow real-time, anonymous, full-loop verification of every vote, by every voter, anytime, from anywhere, forever, which it probably doesn't - it's time.

Let's work on getting great candidates to choose from and make counting votes boring like it should be.

Try it yourself.

Press the 'Demo' button below to vote and see how all it works in a few clicks, no typing.
